Default Office/writing desk

I have finally finished the writing desk for your office. Made from Oregon Myrtle and Black Walnut.

Myrtle was chosen because when I got to this project we did not have $$ to buy a bunch of hardwood and I had this in stock. My wife made me buy it about 3 yrs ago when I was buying a bunch of thick slab maple to build a bench. Turns out it was a pretty good buy for 200 bucks.

The slab had a rotten end with bark inclusion that required a bunch of epoxy infill which went must better than anyone has a right to hope for, I will use it again in a heart beat.

Finish is Target coatings 9300 in gloss.

I need to make a frame for my daughters college diploma then it on to Hal Taylor's version of Maloof rockers.

Thanks for the complements.

Paul, I download to my laptop then send to this posting. Everything shows upright or correct on my phone and laptop then get turned when uploaded. How do I post directly from my phone. Keep in mind you are dealing with a not so savvy computer guy.

Nice desk Mark!
With the pics, you might try uploading to a host server like Google Photos (used to be Picasa). https://www.google.com/photos/about/
Then, when you post on this forum, you just right click the photo, then copy and paste the url in the "insert image" dialog. Edit your photos before uploading to the Google album, and make sure the contents of the album are set to "public". I upload my pics to my own website using Fetch, then copy and paste that url. Same thing. I don't know what people use for a cheap photo editing app these days. I use Photoshop, which I like, but that costs $. Maybe someone else can advise.
