Default A desk box in Jarrah, Bubinga, Wenge, Tas Myrtle and Silky Oak

Been a while....

Here is a storage/ document box I finished this week. This is a gorgeous box with strong colours and grains. It measures 490mm long x 300 wide x 210 high The box proper is made from West Australian Jarrah, with a panel of Bubinga providing a "flame" pattern around the carcass. The lid is Jarrah, but with a large panel of figured Tasmanian Myrtle providing a rippling appearance in Salmon pink.
The top row of trays are Wenge. This provides a strong contrast to the outside of the box, but really shows the beauty of the figured Queensland Silky Oak of the bottom trays.

Regards,

Rob

Very cool. I especially like the detail inside the box.

Hi WW,
It's a box for my wife's boss to put on her desk at home. She has seen a couple of my other boxes and said she liked my work . So, she got this one as a gift.

Regards,

Rob
