Gorgeous table, Neil! I especially love the maple cock bead detail in a contrasting wood. That's a Garrett Hack hallmark.

I understand other projects. I still haven't finished my shop. It would appear that all manner of other things in life take precedent! I don't begin to understand how that works.

Finally finished with the finish on the splay leg table.

I ended up using the Sam Maloof finish - 7 coats total - four of the poly / oil and three of the poly / wax, followed by a once over with just paste wax and buffing.
