Don't think I've shown this to you. You can see the drilled holes in the metal base for the valves and stuff. Finger joints are by Leigh.

If I remember correctly, the tube stereo my Dad had was only vented over the EL34 power tubes, which put out a fair amount of heat. The 12AX7 pre-amp tubes were elsewhere on the chassis under the hood. I think there was only some black screen inset into the walnut case for a top vent. The back was open above the chassis.
