Default Wenge Memorial Box

Hi everyone,
I made this quite a while ago, but I thought maybe you'd like to see it.

It's a Memorial box made totally in Wenge (except for the base which is ply covered in felt)

The people bought a box via internet and it was the "Box from Hell". Mitres didn't meet, sides were not well finished and for this they paid over $200.00

So I was asked if I could make something a bit better. They wanted a glass pane in the lid to place a picture of the deceased in.

So, pics #1,#2 and #3 are the original box.
Pic #4, #5 and #6 are the Wenge box I created for them.

Regards,

Rob

That wenge box is beautiful. Rob. Pretty intense wood grain!

I suspect that your pictures do the original box justice.

Even with the blur, the gap in the miter in the first picture is evident. The difference is like manure to filet mignon. Your box is highly superior! Will this be placed in a mausoleum?
