Hi,
This one is designed to be a footstool, with the customer's embroidery to be displayed in the top. The timbers are Tassie Blackwood (carcass) Red Cedar (Toona calantis) for the lid border and QLD Maple for the tray and runners. The feet are Tassie Blackwood as well. The box is 900mm x 900mm x 200mm high. The finish is burnished Scandinavian Oil. Regards, Rob

Thanks for the kind comments fellas.
This box is one of a pair. The second box is slightly larger and has an embroidery all ready to go with it. I'll post pictures of the second box with the embroidery in place for you. WW, the sides are dovetailed. (Leigh D4R with a Festool OF2000). I dont know if the little legs show up too well in these pictures, but there are little 40mm tall Blackwood tapered legs on the bottom. These were glued and screwed in place. As a result, the box has a false bottom, since they were a late addition. I like the way the Burgundy coloured felt sits with the colours of the Cedar and Blackwood. Regards, Rob
