Default Keepsake Box in Tassie Timbers

Hi all,
This is a keepsake box in Black Heart Sassafrass and Tassie Blackwood. It's about 340 x 220 x 120 mm in size and is finished with Organoil Hard Burnishing Oil.
The body of the box is Sassafrass, while the lid border and the tray are Blackwood.
The Sassafrass board was cut so the the figure was continuous through all four sides.

Sassy is a brittle timber and a pain in the behind to plane into thin pieces! But if you can see it, the bookmatch in the lid appears to have the picture of a wizard in it, with his head and long flowing beard apparent. (on both sides no less!)

Regards,

Rob

Thank you guys. It's hard to make a mess of things when you've got beautiful timbers to work with.

Regards,

Rob
