Default Afromosia Wood

Simple bench of sorts for a shower here. It will straddle the tub, which has wide sides unlike most tubs with only one wide side on the outer. First time I've worked with Afromosia. Not as oily as Teak, but easy to work with.
Finished with Surfix Outdoor Oil since I needed to see the color before I hand the piece over . Domino through mortises were fun, had to trim some Sipo Tenons a bit shorter.

There's a lovely waviness to the grain, Callan. Beautiful!

That's a very inviting bench!
The figure, color, surface sheen, and curved edges, all work very nicely together.

Things like this are the most fun to make when the wood does all the work AND all the talking..
