Default Red Gum and Wenge Jewellery Box

And now for something completely different....

So today I finished a Jewellery box. It is 350mm x 260mm x 149mm (including lid)

I have photos of the ring compartment being made if you want them. The burnishing is best seen at;

So here is the completed box.

This has been an enjoyable project for me. Took my mind off some stuff. The timber is beautiful and shows excellent Red Gum figure and delicate grain. The Quad hinges accentuate the box well and add some class. Wenge is just an outrageous timber for contrast.

Regards,

Rob

I think that may be my favorite of your boxes, Rob. Nice work!
