Brian,
You really, really nailed it! Did you take any of Darylís classes, or did you pick up the book and have at it? Beautiful execution. Looks like youíll be ready to start making replacement pieces for the G&G homeowners. Thanks for posting.
Mike

Great job, Brian. That wood is a joy to work with.

First- Thanks to all for your positive encouragement!

Tico- You know why all of the joints are perfectly square, don't you?
Hope to see you at WIA Pasadena, with Super Chute Version III ???
Mahogany is fun to work with, Next I have to try some Cherry.

TahoeTwoBears- It's called diving into the pool with a blindfold over your eyes. I did have a good deal of help from Darrell. I wanted to take his 6 day Aurora Night Stand class at Kelly Mehler's School, Sept 17-22, but it was already full by the time I heard about it. I had his book, a source for his plans, and just decided to have at it.
Now, I just have to make one more and a Bed to go with it! Yikes!!!!

I got Darrell's book yesterday. It's very well done, I highly recommend it for Greene & Greene fans.

I'm also thinking about getting a set of his square punches for the ebony plugs.

Thanks for the heads up, Brian!

John,
I was going to just use chisels to make the square holes...no big deal I thought....well there are around twenty something of these little buggers.
Long story...short, I bought these from Lee Valley and life got a whole lot easier.
