Default Awesome sculpted jewelry boxes

When I was doing something else on the forum, I accidentally came across these amazing jewelry boxes made by a new member, GregL. I hope he doesn't mind that I posted this thread (send me a PM if you object, Greg, and I'll remove this thread), but I was so astounded at the beauty of these boxes, I just couldn't let them languish, unseen, in his albums.

Here you go:

These are wonderful! Greg - I hope you'll tell us more about them. How'd you do the sculpting?

And welcome!!

They look like they belong in a gallery. very nice work Greg.

Do tell more about them, the wood and stain and how you carve.
