You're right, they do hide the dovetails..
For the desk, there is too much restriction in height.. The curve sacrifices a lot of the potential inner drawer space. Adding under slides there would would be difficult.
It could be possible on the wagon drawers, by decreasing the top two drawers height. The bottom's inner height must remain, as it's a file drawer.
That's something to think about for the next built, thanks for the thoughts cricket
