Thanks very much guys. No yunguns, but we have a good time sailing. My wife races Lasers, all winter, and we both run the sailing program at our club. Lots of teaching, cruising and racing.

Wow! You've got some serious skills
It's a beauty! How long did it take to build?

Thanks Okami,
Never kept track of hours, but too long. I worked on and off for 3 or 4 years on it. But 6 months at a time would go by without me touching it, during our sailing season. So, hard to say. I'm glad its done though. I have a 1936 Old Town canoe restoration to do next. Hope to start this fall on that.
Thanks again!

Beautiful Cricket!

I wonder if a sailboat isn't the ultimate WWing project...
So many skills required, so much experience needed...

Beyond the WWing it's seat of the pants physics and sculpture too.

Congratulations!

I just now saw the Black Swan kayak thread by Zoki. Fabulous boat! But I went to comment and saw the thread was closed. So I'll comment here. Great job!

I thought I would update this thread with some recent pics of Mouse, while I'm in the posting mood (and captive at family visit with only a laptop to entertain myself). Pics mostly from this past summer. I've put almost all of my time into building the new power boat, but did a little sailing too.

Two of my boats, Cricket (foreground), and Mouse head out into the bay.

And the run home-

There is a little bit of video, not great, but kind of interesting-

Thanks for looking.
