I have just completed, and delivered, a Butterfly leaf dining room table made for my son, and modeled on the table described by Jerry Work in his Domino manual. A pdf file is attached with the whole story (well, most of the story, anyway).

Look inside to see how I managed to fit two pair of butterfly leaves under the tabletop. I did leave out some of the gory details, such as how I was able to finish it while recovering from a fractured hip, but that will be in the sequel....

Thank you for writing such a thorough description of it. I'm thinking of building a table myself, and this was quite helpful. However, I'd love to see a more complete description of the butterfly mechanism, if you were able to do that.
