Default What kind of poster are you?

What kind of poster are you ?

John got me to thinking about the posters that we encounter on the Forum
Some all ready have names like the trolls. We Scandihovians know all about them, they are our national creatures.

It seems to me that there is a new type of troll, one who works for a PR co. and is hired by a manufacturer to push his product. They make sudden forays into a forum with a problem then magically solve the problem by suavely slipping their clients product into the mix. Then the fade away.
They need a new name. There not Dino trolls, they are too slick.
What can we call them?

Then there is the lurker turned member so he can see the pictures but does not want to post.
These guys are the seedlings and need to be nurtured.

The pros who contribute so much to our knowledge.

The hobbyist that surprise us with their skill

The old nudniks. Not that there is any thing wrong with that.

A new pushy breed with four legs

What else can you think of?

Bob

The humorous aside (or humourous, as the case may be)
Person who rarely has anything substantive to contribute but relishes the opportunity to make a joke of the thread.

The sock puppet - Alias of someone with a grudge who shows up for no other reason than to support his/her "victim" in the fray.

The noob

The knowitall

The political flatulator - everything is about the politics around it, and they off-gas regularly.

The "my cause" - close cousin of the political guy but from a different county.

The needler - exists solely to barb others.

Mebbe I'm spending too much time on Breaktime. Those came pretty quick.

It's making me a little nervous how many of those categories I fall into...

How 'bout the "smilifier"? Pretty much self-explanatory.
