Yes, I used epoxy resin, that I coloured black for cracks and holes. In the big hole I filled the bottom with black epoxy resin and brushed it on the walls of the hole. The plant is a miniature living tree.
For the finish I sprayed two matte top coats over two coats of sanding sealer. I used my Wagner 4 stage HVLP turbine.
