In both videos, it would seem that lifting their foot off the throttle would have cured a lot of ills.

Mike, the few times that I've lost control lifting off the throttle has been what saved me.

I think in the videos they either had slow reaction times or got past the point of no return. The car will get out of control very suddenly and sometimes when least expected.

As my wife says, this is no car for an old geezer.

Just swap the Trinity for a Focus drive train. You'll still look cool and deaf people will never notice.

That guy in the last video was lucky - it looks like it's only a flesh wound.

The LR/Jaguar 5.0 liter supercharged engine is $39,000 as a replacement item right now, and you have to swap over the supercharger and intake manifold, Exhaust Manifolds, Altn, A/C compressor and Hydraulic Roll Bar pump if you have that system in the vehicle. Electric Steering Rack equipped models will have no power steering pump to worry about, so that's one less thing to swap over.
I'm betting that Ford engine may have better access to the Torque Converter bolts as well..... on the LR product, they were clearly an after thought.... like, OPPS, we forgot to add a hole for those bolts, hmm, better tweak something fast before production kicks in...
