Not so basic, Seth, but this is the best I've ever had. To me it's like drinking a glass of "light".

For something a little more "basic", try this:

I can't believe that I forgot to mention one of my long time favorites, which is very good considering the moderate price:

I've visited Korbel's winery many times (great tour), which is located in Sonoma County, California.

Korbel also produces excellent traditional Méthode Champenoise champagnes sparkling wines. They are also very moderately priced.

My favorite is their extra dry:

Sorry, Seth, the photos look fine on my end.

Here ya go:

Korbel Brandies, pretty good stuff at an excellent price.

Martell VS, a better brandy at a higher price.

Martell Cordon Beu, a pretty steep price, but possibly the best you'll ever taste.

Thanks John, I was only getting the top portion of each picture so no label to read. I am sure it is just something on my end.

Will be tasting some tonight :)

OK, not a big selection where I was able to stop. Ended up with E & J. Pretty good, surprisingly smooth for 80 proof.

Seth, stop by one of your better local bars and slowly sip a snifter of Martell.

Tell me how they compare. :)
