Default Happy Thanksgiving 2012

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. While it will be quiet around here, there's still much to be thankful for. I hope you all enjoy your day.

Thanks, Mike, the same to you and yours.

For decades it was a family tradition fo my wife and I to host big Thanksgiving dinners, 20-25 people. It was a lot of work, but great fun.

Over the past few years the number has dwindled, and now everyone has either moved away (or passed away), leaving only my wife and me in SoCal.

At least we can now bicker in privacy over the best way to cook the dinner.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

I was "elected" to smoke a turkey and a prime rib for dinner today. The neighborhood cats are eying my Traeger thinking I am cooking for them. NOT! I also made some vanilla pecan corn bread and my wife did some sausage & herb stuffing. We haul everything down to the family's restaurant downtown to eat. More food, pies, homemade ice cream & etc. will join us there.

A wonderful Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Sharon is roasting the turkey (boy, does the house smell great!), and we'll take it and Sharon's bread over to a friend's place for our annual Thanksgiving feast. Yum! Great company, great food, and astoundingly beautiful weather.

There's a lot to be thankful for.

Especially all of you. Thank you.
