Ummmm. Just FYI. John's birthday is in August. I'm guessing that there was some ... shall we say ... prevarication on John's Facebook page in terms of both age and birthdate.

Still, I'd love to know what John's recovering from. Us?

Apparently, John is still in recovery mode, still being his birthday and all...

Must be twice as difficult keeping up with how old you are when you have two birthdays a year. Worse yet is trying to blow out all those candles.

Happy 47th, John!

Won't take too many years to catch up with me.

Happy 47th, John!
Wow, go away for a day and look what happens! Here I am thinking about going to biennial birthdays and you guys are switching me to biannual.

Don't know what's going on with my Facebook page, I hardly ever go there.

Yes, it's true that I'm 47 (which is pretty amazing since my son is also 47), but my birthday is not until August.

However, I do accept gifts throughout the year.

Hey John,

Happy late birthday.

Perhaps you have been working too hard on the shop. You need to take it easy in your old age. Rest and get better. Don't work too hard on the shop... it will get done...

some day...

Thanks, Shawn, but my birthday is in August.

You're either VERY late, or VERY early.

(I just knew I should never have signed up on Facebook)

Just go back and correct or delete your birthday.

It reminds me of a couple of guys around here who were always on each others "case." If one spotted the other in a restaurant, he would tell the waitress it was the other guys birthday and the usual parade of singing servers with a blazing cupcake would descend on the other guys table.

Another trick one of them played was on a local "Tradio" program where people could call in and announce items they had for sale. The jokester would announce that he had a herd of goats for sale and give the other guy's phone number. Naturally the prankee had no goats and had to field a flurry of calls from people wanting goats.
