Default How was your year? 2010

Same topic as last year.

Were things the same, better, or worse this year?

Any New Years resolutions you want to publicize?

I had a great year, thank you. My lab was incredibly productive, and my wonderful students and postdocs made it exciting to come into work every day. Sharon was challenged by her work (in a good way), and has made quite a name for herself at the university. For the first time Gillian achieved straight A's on her report card, and she's growing into a delightful young woman. Wally is truly the nicest dog I've ever met. And I'm surrounded by wonderfully creative, bright friends - especially those I've met here.

So here's to an even better 2011!

2010 was better by far than 2009 as I managed to work most of it and upgraded many power tools to Festools

Resolutions: To brush up on my spanish for a planned trip to Spain, we are taking my mum who has never flown or left the UK before.
To make a cabinet for our cd's and dvd's and books.
To post more WIP's which means taking more photo's.

Rob.

Peter, you forgot to mention one big accomplishment for you in 2010, you became a moderator at talkFestool.

All things considered, it may hard for you to improve on a very blessed 2010, but you can count me among those who would like to see it happen.

Thank you, John. And you're right: how could I forget to include my most meritorious accomplishment?!?

I'm still a little fuzzy on just what John's expectations are for this new year...

Okay, maybe I should have use a word other than fuzzy.
