Default New Shop Gloat

I know I just posted a while back that I was moving into a new shop. 750square feet bla,bla,bal....

Anyway, I have been in the shop for a few months and never got it to my liking. It was way to small for all my stuff.

God provides.

My neighbor next door complained to me that he hasnt been able to find a consistant shop mate to share his, much larger than mine, shop space. I says, "lets swap" and he says, "hmmm." that was a month ago. Yesterday he came up to me and asked if I was still interested. Heck yeah! So today I moved one bay down into a nearly 1000 ft clear space. And get this I am going to be paying 150 less than what I was paying before. I have a good friend that needs some workbench space to use part time and he will cover the rest.

This time I will get some pics of the place as I set up. It is in a total shambles at the moment since I just moved in. I need to get it set up in a hurry as I am a little behind. So dont expect anything special.

Hey - that's great, Eiji! Congratulations. God clearly wants you to build stuff. Cool - always good to have the big guy on your side. We're looking forward to both the pictures of the shop, and pictures of the things you build.

That is cool! Good for you!!!!!!!!!

I started outsourcing a while ago as I can't find, or can't afford a bigger space that would work for me. Therefore I can really see why you are so happy!

Please post pictures!

Ya know, they say that tools don't make a good woodworker, so I am wondering if maybe a new workshop might rectify the problem.

Rick,

I had a good chuckle from that one. Did you come up with that all by yourself or did you get help from your engineer?

Congrats, Eiji! I'm sure the extra space will make a big difference.

But please, no pics of the place in shambles, thats' what I see every day in my place.
