I blame you!

Hello Craig,

I don't have any Bowclamps. I'm blaming you, because somehow you let me leave the WIA two years in a row without any! I would really like to right this wrong by placing an order; I...

Re: Poto and colleagues get major funding!

Peter,

Congratulations! I can't help but to think my visit and trip to sea with your class helped cinch this grant- or maybe it was my leaving town after that did the trick!

I read your post...

Re: Machining on a Wood Lathe?

Guys,

Thanks for the replies, I do seem to be missing the half moon shaped piece to adjust the height; looks simple enough to make or get. I currently have 3 different tool holders: straight,...

Re: Bacon

No, it's a lie being pushed on us by the military, industrial, pork complex. They won't rest until they put limp under cooked bacon on everything. We must rise above and demand high quality CRISPY...

Re: Major landscaping remodel

Peter,

The project is coming along nicely, I really like the half bath you added next to the house; is the blue color primer, will you be painting it to match the rest of the house?

Bacon

Hello All,

Apparently eating heaping plates of bacon each morning of the WIA two years in a row brands you as some sort of bacon fiend.

I opened my mailbox yesterday to a package that I...

Re: The re-saw beast

Okami,

Can you take it apart into more manageable bits? I've moved some pretty big tools to my house in compact cars over the years.

Good luck!

Re: Anyone Using a Tool Chest?

I was leaning towards the idea of lots of small shallow drawers with a place for everything just like what several of you have shown. I also have way more tools than anyone in their right mind should...

Anyone Using a Tool Chest?

Hello,

Just got my copy of Popular Woodworking and found the article on tool chests interesting. I'm contemplating a hand tool and Jointmaker shop to go along with my regular shop. I orginally...

There should be enough of us on here with the App that you can do it "remotely," post your angle need or caliper read and hope someone reads your post soon!

Re: How do I build a pyramid?

Hello,

Using the App for the BCTW AMP-V2; I came up with a blade tilt of 30 degrees and a miter gauge angle of 54.736. The bottom of the pyramid would be 45 degrees to sit flat.

The App is...

Thanks John,

Yup, made it a point to get down there to compare their engines with the back-up power generator at work; I have 100 more hp, except they had two!

Okami,

That night was the first time I used chopsticks and tried sushi. John Economaki always likes to make fun of me for being from MN and only eating meat and potatoes, so he informed me that I...

Re: 2011/09/30 - WIA 2011!

Hi Everyone,

It was great seeing old friends and making new ones.

I assumed that I wouldn't like sushi; and I was right. For the record there was no way that it was coming back up, but I...

Re: A new joint?

Peter,

The HP-6 "V" grove sole and iron won't cut that large of a 45. The rabbet sole with blade and the 45 degree fence probably would with the center cleaned out first. The JMP would work great...
