Re: Using A New Dado Technique...New To Me...

Search shaft collars on McMaster Carr. They have a wide assortment of sizes and materials; it looks like they have some with non-marring set screws.

Re: Should be moving shop soon

John,

It was in the 70's at WIA Pasedena and the locals were wearing what we in MN would wear in the 40's.

If it helps you John, we didn't hit 20 today.

Re: Precision Fence Video

I just double checked, and you'll need a 1/16" for the squaring and it also works on the clear plastic cursor.

So, you probably don't need any additional tool, but don't let that stop you, you...

Re: Precision Fence Video

Re: Calendar

I found it hard to just buy a ten dollar calendar and pay shipping on it, so I almost ordered another plane, but got Matt Bickford's book instead.

Re: Cutting aluminum with a TS55

I use a combination blade to cut aluminum on my table saw. Make sure everything is clamped well and you wear face protection. Also be careful of hot metal and saw dust.

Re: So How's Your New JMP Precision Fence?

Jesse,

The elbow clamp really needs to be able to be spun 90 degrees and then it could clamp upright stock. We should all bug Michael until he makes a new one.
