My bench (smaller and much simpler than yours) was reclaimed oak.
From a 100+ year old work bench... FULL of nails, dirt and grease....

The hose that comes with the hand sanding system is not anti-static.

Mirka does make a couple of anti-static hoses - a 32mm sold with their vac, and a 25mm included with their Deco Sander package....
