Why do you want to mount it to the face of the bench, flush with the top? You already have a leg vise and deadman for holding wide boards for working ends at that height. I'm not sure why you'd want...

Great video Paul! I love the line about lining the jaws with tomotoes. Hilarious.

Nice accessories as well. I especially like the outboard clamping with domino-equipped vertical fence. Very slick.

Thanks everybody! Those washer-like things are actually...wait for it...washers! :D They are steel and prevent the hand wheels from digging into the movable jaw.

Yeah, I used 3/4" T+G beech flooring to back up my tool wall. I just nailed them (through the tongue)...
