Re: Need repair help

Welcome to the forum. :welcome:

I would start by calling Festool Customer Service, 1 800 554-8741. They might be able to find something over the phone. They can also look up the serial number and...

Re: Shop Thought Processes Help Needed

I've always been told to buy a cheap set (just like you did) and when you need replacements buy some good individual drills. Don't buy the cheapest replacement drill or the most expensive. I've been...

Re: Shop Thought Processes Help Needed

I have a Drill Doctor and I've been happy with it. I've had some drills come out bad but I discovered it was Operator Error. You have to be careful when setting up the drill holder before grinding,...

What is holding up the main workbench, is it those pipes? I'd like to hear more about how you are supporting the top. I think your...

Re: Shop Thought Processes Help Needed

It's good to see you using the benches and finding a working solution. You will find out which tools needs to be closet to the bench and then you can work out from there.

Re: Shop Thought Processes Help Needed

Mike, Here in south Georgia the humidity is very high and I don't have any problem with my MFT top or other MDF pieces. I don't believe that damaged corner should be a problem.

Definitely not...

Re: First Festool: What's the Minimum Workable Setup for a TS55?

Like Peter says, it needs more length. Also, the saw base is slick and slippery making it hard to stay straight. The TS-xx saw really needs to be on the rail and who needs this when you have the...

Re: First Festool: What's the Minimum Workable Setup for a TS55?

The saw is really meant to be used with a vacuum. I would be concerned of sawdust clogging ports and the riving knife.

I have the $55 parallel guide that rides on the saw and it is a waste of...

Re: Smoking Kapex

Welcome to the forum. :welcome:

Unlike most manufacturers, the Festool warranty is not a "hard" 3 year policy. They are very flexible with the warranty. My TS-55 developed a crack when it was over...

Re: Shaker(?) Bench Build...

I'm going to throw this idea...

Re: Another M12

Poto, Are you seeing that inside knurled knob in the first picture? Look again closely and you will see there is only one knob and a reflection of the bolt that makes it look like there are 2 knobs.

Re: Veritas Cyclone lid problems

I don't know if I can help. I don't have that model, I have an older one from Rockler and it doesn't create a "cyclone", the sawdust comes in and drops down. It works good until the can is about 3/4...
