This weekend, I announced my latest plane, the Mesquite Smoother. This plane was inspired by a conversation with Mark Harrel at Bad Axe Tool Works. He made me a beautiful Darth Vader edition Jack Saw and I made him my first Mesquite Smoother.



I also made one for myself, and I was in love. Mesquite makes AWESOME planes!

By today, four of the first five were sold already! So I, being a sucker for making sure more people get in on this first order, added one more plane to the queue tonight:

As of the time I'm posting this, there is only one more left in the initial production run. I'm pretty thrilled about that!
