It's interesting that you posted this. I'm much more interested in the GH1. That said, this might be a nice companion camera for the GH1. Having two cameras that could use the sames lenses and some of the accessories would be nice.

Well, I got my Sony Cyber-Shot TX1/H on Friday. It doesn't take photos like my D700, but it IS the size of my cellphone.

I took about 100 shots on Saturday while Peter Franks, Roger Savatteri, and I were playing with my Marcou plane. So far I'm very happy with it. Wasn't too expensive, easy use, and easy to carry (in fact I bought a small cellphone holster and it fits perfectly). The photos aren't great, just pretty darn good.

From what I've read the TX1 makes pretty darn good pictures in the dark (where most cameras make lousy photos) but just average in ordinary light.

That may be true, Michael. The photos taken in Roger's shop were without a flash and they came out pretty good. I haven't taken many outside yet.
