Default Lightroom 2x help

Greetings all,

So based on comments here in the forum, I bought my wife Lightroom 2 when we upgraded all of her other Adobe products to CS4. She promptly signed up for the complete Total Training package for a year. She's been buzzing along working through the lessons to pick up the new parts of her software, when bingo, the menus are wrong in the training package for Lightroom. Now she sees that they haven't updated their training package for the 2.0 version.

So my question is:

What training aids/books did you use and/or would you recommend. She wants to use this mostly as a cataloging program, since she does most of her work in Photoshop. OTOH, if some extra training for Lightroom rubbed off, then perhaps she'd see me more for the genius that I wish I was (at least in her eyes).

Any help out there?

Mike

Sorry, I have not purchased Lightroom 2. I do most of my photo adjustments in lightroom. I just keep playing with all the adjustments to see what happens, you can always revert back to the original raw file because it never gets changed. Hope you find someone who is up to date.

I thought about re-posting that link, but the book was written while LR 2.1 was still in beta and I'm not sure that it's current enough for new users.

It is an excellent book though.

Check out the publishers web page, there's more info there:
