Dang,

Just yesterday in Uppa Montclair NJ, more on the location in a moment,

we had the big puffy white clouds, (Puffy lives in Alpine NJ) little

spheres of humidity swirled by a light breeze. It was enchanting.

Then the lighting and thunder out of nowhere. Torrential downpour

like nature just flipped a switch. Hunter was on a 40 foot ladder,

He thinks he was screamed at to run and cover the tools.

That's only because at 18, immortality doesn't allow you to consider lightning.

That top would have made me feel secure and comfortable.

And it also begs the question, how come we don't see more of that?

Now about Uppa Montclair, for those of you not Familiar with Joisy.

It is home of a eclectic bunch of wealthy folks.

Steven Colbert, Michael Strahan (Giants), hedge fund weenies,

very successfull artists and writers. (Best sellers, gallery sensations)

This is the town where the contractors and land management fellas out number the inhabitants.

Unlike the rest of the North East, there is work here.

But it is very hard to get your itty bitty feet in those huge doors.

A typical Uppa Montclair house looks like this.

Some much older and grander some new and huge, but never to the point

of ostentation.

The Bamboo will be great for water resistance, but I bet it's sure a lot tougher than the MDF when you lay that table over on it's side and use the wood table as a support. I was wondering how that MDF would hold up over time. I haven't worked with Bamboo but it's probably also part of the weight savings in the new design. Plus it just looks so darn cool.

Good question Mike; I inferring that you are talking bout the spacing...on center distance between the holes? I should be getting the demo models shortly and will certainly get that ASAP. Perhaps Bart will swing in over the next couple days and share with us. In the mean time I will do some investigation and perhaps try to do some math with the scale of the picture and try to fig'r the distance.

The widths of the blanks are 1070mm long, and 750mm respectively. I am looking diligently at some information trying to find the "depth."

We'll get there.

Here is a PDF Walko Spec Sheet that also shows various ways to configure.

Don't go to any trouble figuring out the hole spacing. It's just idle curiosity (as far as I'm concerned) until they hit your dock.

WalkoDude gave us the depth, "The Bamboo table tops are 25 millimeters thick. The holes are 20 millimeters."

Mike, I was referring to the depth as in front to back. The walko.nl site has the old stlye MDF tops at 1050x340x28mm . The new Bamboo tops are 1070x??x28. My assumption is a proportional dimension, however, I am looking for some confirmation on depth as in "Front to Back."
