Default Cutouts?

So i have a pantry ide like to make a cut out to in order to bring out and surface a light switch. I thought of making a radial cut and then sawing out the square shape to appropriate size, but do u all have A different method that can leave a clean and nice look?

What about drilling a hole and using a jig saw?

Actually thats what i meant i wanted to do. Even though ill cover the cuts up with some trim i just thought maybe there was a different way.

You could make a template and use a flush cutting bit in a router.
