Default Felder

If anyone on this site has a K or KF700 Felder, I am looking for someone to share their experience with me.

Thanks

Mark

I just saw this, sorry. I had a KF700S (with shaper) for a few years. Sold the machine some time ago, but I really liked it. Any specific q's you have about it? I have a few pics in use if you are interested.

I would be interested in which motor size you had. I am going to get the KF700S. I am trying to decide between 5 and 7.5.

I don't have one of those machines, but I do have a lot of machinery. My advice is go with the most HP you can. Never too much HP

Dang, I was sure I replied to this before. I had a 5 hp on both motors, and never regretted the smaller motor, but I did most of my solid wood ripping on the bandsaw. So a lot of the work the saw did was sheet goods, plus miters, etc. I never thought the saw or shaper lacked power.

If money is no object, go for the 7.5.

I like the filler boxes you had, I was thinking about something like that with lids and a shallow tray for tools.

Would be good blade storage. A lot of people do that. Mine were in the drawers under the outfeed table.
