Derek,

What a great looking tool- you must be busy all the time getting all these tools made.

Hi Rutager

I only build tools after a furniture project is complete - sort of light relief. This was fun, and needed after he frustration of working the Curly Marri here ....

Regards from Perth

Beautiful miter box, but I would love to see more photos of it.

Hi Colin

Did you follow the link to the article on my website - lots of photos, including build and parts, there.

Derek

That is fantastic. How many hours to figure it out and build?

Thanks for sharing - you really should do these for a commission!

Hi Neil

Thanks for the compliments.

Hours? Hard to tell as I squeezed in into time between things .. probably about 12 hours max in all.

Commissions? Where is the fun in that? Deadlines would turn the time into a job. This is just recreation, hence a piece of furniture for the home (I have just started on a couple of chairs) and a specialised tool for me.

Regards from Perth
