My goodness, Pedder - those saws are STUNNING! Beautiful work!

I'd love to hear a bit more about you. Are you actually a lawyer? Who's your partner? What got you into saw making?

And most of all: WELCOME!

Pedder,

Those are truly beautiful saws. Pedder, I was the one that Martin Gerhards had suggested you contact. I have also written you a Private Message which you can access through your profile or up on the upper right hand side of any page and it should tell you that you have one new message. Martin also mentioned that I need to order a saw from you.

Welcome aboard and if he is interested I hope that Klaus also joins.

Fred

Hello Festool talkers,

my name is Klaus and I'm the 2nd part of Two Lawyers Tools. I do like to join this forum and... hm... since I'm living about 20 miles apart from the Festool factory, I probably should join this forum

Some of you asked Pedder if he actually is a lawyer. Yes, both of us are lawyers ... and both of us share the love of woodworking and of toolmaking.

Pedder and I live about 450 miles apart from each other and met in a German woodworking forum. After short time we found out, that our talents could be enough for a nice combo of sawmakers. Pedder is responsible to make the tool performing good (he's a blademaker with outstanding skills!) while it ismy responsibility to make sure that the tool doesn't look ugly, I'm the handle maker.

We met in 2008 and started the saw making adventure in 2009. It started as a fun project and a hobby thing and now, well now it wouldn't be wrong to call it a 2nd profession. One that wouldn't be enough to feed our families but one that gives a lot of satisfaction and pleasure for sure.

Cheers
Klaus

Hi Fred and all,

than you for the warm welcome. Klaus told allready you how we became Two Lawyers Toolworks. Indeed, there are some more friends working with us: Alex, who turns every handle that is round and Jürgen who runs the mills for the spindes and Guido who turns the screws. And Gerd Fritsche helps us a lot with his tool making knowledge.

We have a little page (it is a blog, because that is the simplest page format) where we show new saws every now and than :

http://two-lawyers-toolworks.blogspot.de

If you want to talk about saws with us (the main reason we became saw maker) or you have some very special wishes, feel free to aks us here, via pm or e-mail!

Cheers
Pedder
