Default Blokkz clamping blocks

I just came across these things - they look mighty versatile: BLOKKZ - How To Use Universal Clamping Blocks

Clever design, and probably pretty useful for drawing joints together. I think they work a bit like Bridge City's Mitre Stitch blocks.

Thanks for sharing this clever idea. I ordered a pair.

I go nuts trying to make clamping cauls for the compound angle joinery and curves in chairs - these ought to solve some of those problems.

Definitely a lot of ideas from the Bridge City miter stitches; I like the change from those of a round clamping medium so you can clamp to any angle whereas the miter stitches are more biased to 45 and 22.5.

Plus, they are available!

A thought might be to bore a couple of holes (sized the same as the Blokkz clamp holes) in wooden parallel clamps so dowels could be inserted for clamping at any angle.
