Default Anyone for a Sweet Heart???

Hello

Stanley have recently released their new versions of the old "sweethearts" hand planes.
1/8" thick A2 blades, adjustable mouths. Their low angle block is $99, looks ok for the price.
Who's gunna be the first to get one
Cheers!
Okami

I saw those, Okamisan. No, Bob, I don't think I'm in the market for any more planes at this point. I have to get my shop set up again, and get building something.

It'll be interesting to see how flat the planes are, and how nicely machined the parts are.

I still say that the only choice in a plane is a Marcou:

I have to agree John, they are superb, but way way out of my reach and I want all my planes to be users, I don't think I would dear to use a Marcou
I could buy a set of good bench planes for the same price:tigersmile:
cheers!

They're out of my reach too. I don't buy them, I just recommend that others do.

Then hopefully one day I'll know someone who owns one and I can hold it in my hands.
