Default How About A Party

Bars have happy hour, supermarkets have two for one offers. It gets the punters through the door. How about allowing guests to post for a weekend or maybe a week, it might get more people to join the forum, or is it an administration nightmare? just an idea

I suspect it might be, but if not, I'll bring the Guiness

I think that's a great idea. I'd sure like to see more "dumb" questions here. And thoughts on tools and woodworking.

On the other hand, there's absolutely no cost to being a member, so why not join and post anyway?

Maybe what we need is a page where guests and newbies can post, and we can't see it. That way people won't be intimidated by the vast and imposing old-boy club we've built up here. Start a new old-boy club, and then gradually merge the two...

I have a better idea. Let's have a party at Peter's house. We can all take turns sitting on the barstools and enjoy some homemade curry.

I'll bring myself.

If he offers you seafood ravioli makes sure he eats some first.

Michael and Eiji,

What you really need to watch out for is the blowfish ravioli that Peter makes. Apparently from the last four police reports he "may" be a little sloppy with the cleaning of the blowfish. Okami has already turned him down for this party.

Fred
