Default I can't view pics from an older thread

I went back to look at Eiji Fuller's thread about his mft carts and I can't see the images. Is there anything I can do to be able to see the pics?

I asked this before, a while ago now. I don't think anyone responded to me...
My guess is the photos have been erased from Eiji's album
Where has Eiji been anyway?? Anyone seen him?

Eiji packed up his pictures and left some time ago. Bummer - he did some good work. I have communicated a bit with him recently, and it sounds like he's closing up his shop - maybe moving. But I'm not sure about details. He did call me to offer me some nice wood that he's selling...

I read on his FB page that he was closing up his shop. I've always felt that he has a pretty amazing skill set. Hopefully he continues to build things.
Poto, did he offer to send any old pics your way?

Unfortunately, no, Russell. He did offer to build me a table or a door. Unfortunately (for him) I built my own. Well ... table at least...

Oh, that's sad to hear... I hope he's not being forced to close up by lack of work... If that's the case, I feel for him.. Shops are dropping like flies here too.
Eiji does some really fantastic work, I'd say the most skilled woodworker thats graced TalkFestool.
I may be in a similar situation come next year... There is a huge Ikea store opening up about 10minutes drive from me in spring 2012

I'm guessing it was the amount of work vs. the cost of living in San Diego. I'll try to find out.

I'm hoping, Okamisan, that the people who buy from IKEA aren't the same ones who would be buying from you.

Does your furniture flat-pack?

No, my furniture absolutely doesn't flat pack
But that seems to be the direction of the masses these days, unfortunately.
Cheap, cheap, throw it in the car and drive it home...did I say cheap...

Yes, Okami, you said cheap. You forgot to say nasty.
Cheap and nasty.

I seem to recall that he was pretty excited about packing up & moving to South Africa (I think) based on an e-mailed offer from someone over there (he'd never met) to teach woodworking. It sounded like a entirely upside down lifestyle from San Diego (or anywhere in a developed country). Hopefully our (my?) advice against going was good advice and he hasn't bought into something similar. He has stellar talent and I wish the best for him.
Does anyone else remember that situation I'm talking about?
