Default Spray paint finish process suggested

Hi,

I am painting and spindle bed for my daughter. My sprayer is an Earlex 6500 with a bleed gun. I am going to spray a water based single part epoxy paint from Miller paint.

Any suggestions about how to go about spraying this would be welcome, I hope not to make a huge mess....

Mark,

My best advice is to run some tests first to make sure the sprayer can handle the material and that your tip and adjustments are right. My HVLP doesn't handle thicker materials very well, I'm not familiar with the Earlex though.

Mark,
I second Rutager's suggestion. I wound up buying a separate gun for paint for my HVLP from Apollo. I called and talked with the tech and they had a cheaper gun that he suggested for the paint I was using at the time.
