Default ETS EQ 150/3 sent for repair.

I sent my Sander for repair today. It had developed a habit of turning off, would restart and then turn off again right away.

They said in bold letters to include the proof of purchase which I did not have so off to my local supplier, Miller Paint, and after some searching I was able to have them print me a new receipt. I am 19 days shy of three years, glad I decided to send it today!

I will post when I get more info about what is wrong.

Has anyone starting using the new sanding pads? Does the old style paper work with the new pads? I have ruined my hard pad and need to get a new one but I have a good deal of old style paper.

The old paper does work with the new pads.

I have some of the new mesh paper for drywall but still have a lot of the older paper that I'm using.

Does anyone know what the normal turnaround time is for tools sent for repair?

Unknown. I drove a few tools down to Goleta when they still had a presence there and they fixed them while I was there. I don't have a clue about shipping them back to Indiana.

The time I dropped my TS75 off the roof the turnaround time was 11 days total 4 of which were shipping. That's my only experience.

It is back, 13 days. Not to bad considering how long UPS ground takes. Check box card said it needed "electronic parts" the packing slip said 2 of them.

Good to know. Probably faster than me driving down to Goleta for a few days.
