Default VAC SYS SE1

Thumbs up after trying it.
It features vacuum thru the base to a work bench and vacuum to your work piece.
A heavy wood door was the demo Guinea pig and we could sand on it.
The foot pedal seemed OK/smooth.
For obvious reasons the Festool rep mounted and demounted the heavy door but I’d say if you’ve had less than 3 drinks you’re good to go at home without smashing a toe.
The door was 150 grit sanded but held.
Mount tipped flat or vertical, like an old drafting table.
See the website for actual range of motion. 0-90°?
The vac was clamped as shown due to tiny demo area.

I bought one.

Amazing the flexibility it gives for holding work. Great for sanding, but also using the domino without obstruction or need for clamping to get table over-hang for proper placement.

I didn't go with the second unit, but have found the one clamping pad to be amazingly strong for holding entire drawers or cabinet doors for sanding or finishing!
