Default Gary Katz Roadshow at Festool Junkie

The Gary Katz Roadshow will be at Timmy C's Festool Junkie (Lincoln Hardwood & Tool) Monday October 5. Who else will be there?

It would be great to see you there again, Randy! I would hope Timmy would let you in.

Tim will definitely be there! I talked to him today and he is looking forward to seeing as many tF'ers as can show up. I will probably order some tools after I spend the day drooling on them!

One of my clients (from my day job) who is a very talented cabinetmaker is going with me. I told him about the roadshow and we got talking about our tools. It turns out he has come to the brink or the slippery slope. His only Festool (so far) is a Trion. I had to show him a few of mine - sanders, domino, TS75, Parallel guides, routers, LR32, CT33 w/boom arm, and he was impressed. It turns out he has snuck a Felder or two into his shop in the last year. I am going on a tour this week and I hope to get him on the forum soon.

I was at Gary's Finish Carpentry seminars at JLC Live Seattle 2007. I came away very impressed. Gary is a wealth of information for improving quality and speed!

I'd be there, but the commute from Seattle is a little tough.

Dan.

Chatted with Timmy C on facebook this morning and he said he has 175 reservations! Quite a crowd! I hope I can get a seat near the front.

We had a GREAT dinner at Tims this evening with Gary Katz, Tom, Craig, my friend and cabinetmaker Jason and several others. The menu was shrimp cocktail, clams dip and beverages folowed by Nebraska Ribeyes with garlic sauce (cooked to perfection by Tim), Baked potatoes, asparagus spears, Waldorf salad & fudge brownies.

I brought some Cabernet for the winos.

We got the pictures up first!
