Default SYS 4 TL-Sort -and- SYS-COMBI 2

Finally !
Both are self explanatory.
The optional inserts and dividers are not shown.
I ordered 2 each for the hell of it.
.
Not shown are new Festool Sysytainer labels for at home printers or writing on.

Nice update for the sortainer line!

Oh, great! Now the rest of my Festool/Tanos boxes have also become obsolete.

Yet, I have to agree that these do look to be an upgrade. The drawers might be more versatile than the prior small/medium/large drawers. However, I also expect that most would prefer their new Festools now come in Systainers with lower drawers too, possibly leaving the future of the otherwise "plain" T-Loc Systainer in question...

Kind of hard to continue to market a "system" and then continually make one component after another obsolete. This soon leaves the customer with a broken system.

My stack of sortainers does serve as a base for T-Locks on top. I ended up with 5 as aresult of buying screw assortments with a sortainer from McFeeley's back in the day. The shallow drawers proved to be a problem with longer screws, which could tip up and jam the drawers. I had to learn to load those only about half full to minimize this problem.

The deeper drawers will be much mor useful and I'd like to know if they have added a smooth, jam-proof surface above the drawers. SignGuy, did you get a look?

The drawers have a nice subtle click when closing.
Granted they were empty.
I can see paste wax might coming in handy if you fill them heavy.
One improvement over the old style is reduced bind.
Your screws wont catch on the surface above. It was molded fairly flat.
I think the rep said that. I don't have old ones to compare.

I can understand the need for continual innovation, but they also want you to keep buying
