Default Systainer - Wrenches

Tool: Wrenches Craftsman Pro Polished
Case: SYS1 w/ Festool w/ dimpled foam lid
Guts: white sign grade pvc sheets laminated with pvc glue
Rating: full cooler / I have at least 2 full days in this.

Note 1) This is a luxury kit for road use only. I already have wrench sets in my wood shop, fab shop and garage rolling chests.

Note 2) Sears as we know it will be a thing of the past in 2 years Im guessing. They have been in red ink the past 20+ quarters. I think the tool line will remain but no more warrantee for life.

Photo 1) MM, Inches
Photo 2) Home garage.
Photo 3) Sign Pole Bases as generally 1 nuts or 1-1/4 nuts. Hence a couple big wrenches, cheater bar, torch and sockets go in the trailer box.
Photo 4) The large sizes were an EBay score.

Although systainers are generally a nuisance for me, since my show is non-profit (read, costly hobby) and I never take it on the road, I love your organizational bent. Makes my OCD look like normal behavior - I love it. Seriously, though, I admire your great organization, must make your offsite work much more efficient and productive, to say nothing for looking cool.

Anyone know why Festool won't sell me tools without the power cord and without a systainer everytime? That's gotta shave a good $100 or more off the cost of a tool. Need any systainers? Come on over, they are stacked up at my place just gathering dust, I don't use most of them that come with the tools.

Nice setup, sign guy! What did you use to cut the inserts? They look like cnc in the pix.

Paul: you can probably sell your excess sustainers for a good price on eBay.

There are (34) approx laminated pieces.
They are staggered .38" and .25".
(16) @ .38" for wrenches.
(18) dividers @ .25".
Each .38" was traced with wrench.
Then hogged out on the spindle sander and bandsaw.
Then the .38 was re-sawed to the width of the wrench.
Fat wrenches are .38" wide. Narrow ones are .25".
Did that make sense?

Accuracy depended on how many Festool IPA were involved.
A brand new 1'2" bandsaw blade from Grizzly was a good idea to start.
111" on a RIKON. 15" throat.

Put them on EBay.
Systainers bring as much or more than at your dealer.
I'm lucky to have (2) dealers within a short drive.
Both discount a few bucks.
