I was going to order the free catalog, I always like to see it in paper so I don't miss anything, but shipping on that was 54 Euro, so I passed for now.

Didn't notice This thingbefore. A systainer-port -like rack, without the casters, but it does appear to have a lock.

(Found it by going to tanos.de, shop, erganzungen)

Looks like it might be for Mini-Systainers.

They call it a "sytainer tresorgehäuse", if it were for the mini's I think they would mention that. (I agree the pic is pretty small). I'll try linking to the product page again: hope it works this time

/again no luck, tried copying it via the "properties" of the link to it.

I was just wondering if all the drawers shown would be included, because it might be just the "housing".

I recently ordered in 2 of the Tanos "tool cases" for hand tools (I will actually use these for work). I already use a BUNCH of the sortainers and systainers for work, but now I can pile everything on top of my dolly or CT-Mini and wheel it into a job.

It ended up costing about $150 ea. after shipping (I got 2, one for me and one for my partner), which isn't a ton more than I paid for my Platt tool case 10 years ago.

Now I can stack it all up and go!

Default Blue systainer latches

I searched for, but cannot find a thread where people were interested in using different colored latches on their systainers to help quickly identify things.

I have 8 (4 prs) of Dark blue latches that I will part with for $9/pr + shipping if anyone is interested. PM me.

Unfortunately, the US dollar's down to .50

But seriously. My orders several years back were shipped via DHL. I think DHL still does international--like from Germany to the US, but I'm not sure how their recent changes affect this. Might ask both your supplier (Kofferfunshop?) and DHL here how this works now.

I might be interested in some stuff. I'll check.

Ned

Ned,

Are we looking at the same thing. Here's a chart of the Euro:
http://stockcharts.com/charts/gallery.html?$XEU

On Friday, the Euro Index is down to 129.65 from a two year high of 160 in August, 2008. It's higher than its two year low of 123.94 in October, 2008, but still better than it was last year.

Conversely, the USD Index is close to it's two year high:
http://stockcharts.com/charts/gallery.html?$USD

Overall, the dollar isn't great, but it's better than it has been.

Regards,

Dan.

When I buy groceries, it appears my dollar has shrunk.

Other than that it was a joke. Sort of.
