All Festool tools are welcome and we would like to hear what you have to say about them. Accessories and consumables would be reviewable within a tool review or could stand on their own.

With that in mind I would invite anyone who wants to give their perspective and review a tool to jump right in. Be prepared to answer pertinent and respectful questions posed by your readers and offer additional information if it is available.

If you just want to give a quick opinion of tool go right ahead. If you want to spend more time and really dig into the tool and all of its intricacies please, please do so. It is your valuable time being spent on providing talkFestool readers with the review so please let me express my gratitude if you choose to spend that time offering your views and observations.

With that in mind here's a few thoughts on some areas you might choose to address in your review:

• Where are you coming from. Professional, serious hobbyist, average joe. How long have you been at it?

• Why did you purchase the tool.

• Specifications and capacity of the tool. Maybe its country of origin

• The price.

• How does it compare to similar tools from other tool companies. What have you used before that performs the same task. Did you do any side by side comparisons?

• What tasks did you perform with the tool and how much time have you spent using it.

• Impressions on quality of manufacture.

• Initial impressions with examples

• Set up issues.

• Ease of use and ergonomics.

• How and why does it perform better than tool X with examples of this.

• How and why does it perform worse than tool X with examples of this.

• Long term impressions with examples if available.

• Is the price justified by its performance.

• Does it make a task easier, more efficient, or less prone to operator error.

• Safety issues that need to be addressed.

• Summation of the good, the bad and the ugly.

• Don’t forget the pictures!!! Video’s if you have them.
