I looked at a T15 at Tool Depot the other day. There are so many other tools that are actually worth the asking price to justify the purchase of that drill.

Eiji,

Do you mean there are so many other features that are actually worth the asking price?

I have not tried the light on my drill but I have used it as a headlamp and it works pretty well.

I replaced the light fixture in our guest bath which has no natural light. With the power turned off in that part of the house I had to rely on artificial light to complete the electrical hookup.

Well worth the cost just for this project.

Neill

I've been using the lamp again. Pro's - you can leave it on all the time without squeezing the trigger and the battery lasts and lasts. I have also been able to remove my other headlamp from my site tool box.
Con's, you can forget to turn it off and leave it on all the time
In tight corners it has been getting in the way a bit and I can't use it with the eccentric or right angle drives - or with the Protool drill driver.

I think if Festool are listening I would like my next (4th) Tool Technic driver to have a built in lamp that switches on and off independently of the trigger and also slips off to clip on a head band. I know the engineers in Germany need a challenge to make another perfect product
(one of my first cordless drivers was an AEG, and the lamp was slung under and just behind the chuck, slid forward to turn on and slid off completely)
