The T12 is a whopping 3/8" shorter than the T15. Well it's such a huge difference, that I wonder why Festool even bothered putting the angle chuck in the T12 package.

With the torque on these new drills, putting your hand behind it could easily result in a much thinner hand.

OK John, now we are getting down to it! Just come out & say "Hey I am a hopeless Festool (or in some of our cases, ALL tools) JUNKIE."

I could probably use the "smaller than" on my wife (be careful here John) but it's best among us tool junkies to just tell the truth.

Hey, it's a huge problem changing bits back & forth so we all really need two "T" drills & it would be just plain silly to have two T15's...
( I think that I can sell it).

Well Ron, I ordered another T drill last night so I can have two because I don't like to change bits. One will be setup to drive and the other to drill. I did go for another T15 so one could argue that I'm silly.

My thinking exactly. In fact, depending on the job, I might have three or four drills at hand.

I've been using a fleet of DeWalts that way for years, so every time I sell one of them, I'll just use the money to buy another T.

Brice, you KNOW that I'm kidding -- when I get another one (high probability) it will be a T15 also. They are just great.
(If I were making $$ with it I would already have the second one.)

Have you tried yours in some heavy tasks yet?

So, now I guess you're saying that buying the T12 was silly.

Well, quite frankly...

Not at all -- buying any tool that makes you happy is not silly.
