Default Vac Hose Holder

Decided I was tired of the CT dust extractor hose being flopped over something I need to get in to. Having the cleaning tubes knocked over, or in the way on the floor so I came up with a hose / vac attachment holder for my site vac.

It fits into the rectangular hole on the front corner of the Systainers. In this case the one I keep the cleaning set in on top of my Mini. It also gets stored in the same Systainer when not in use.

It is made with a PVC conduit - coupler, end cap, 13" of conduit. A 'U' shaped screw in utility hook (the type with a lag style screw). And a small piece of wood sized to fit the hole and epoxied into the coupler. The hook is just screwed into the end cap (pre-drilled).

I left the three section seperate top, tube, bottom that way I could have about 4" more height and still have it fit straight across in the Systainer. Extra sections could be added using couplers if you want it to be taller.

It will hold the hose in various configurations with an attachment or with out. And also serves as a prop stand for the tube assembly.

Nice job. I expect Festool will copy and add it to their next catalog, probably priced around $120?
